Military Marriage Day goes beyond the holiday with the launch of our FREE resource hub in 2023. We aim to be a one stop shop for all things military marriage and The Hub provides just that. Our hope is that the vetted resources provided would equip and inform our service couples with ease of navigation. The Hub includes an array of free and paid resources that may fit an array of marriage styles with trusted members from our military community.

Sharing Military Life Truths To Inspire

The Stories

The heart of Military Marriage Day is storytelling! We learn the most about marriage from shared experiences. Not just highlighting the good stuff, but being real about the tough and challenging times too. This is why each year we highlight service couple stories throughout our virtual countdown and live celebration.

Want to hear more stories? Check out Hearts & Stripes podcast, the official podcast for Military Marriage Day. Hosted by MMD Founder, Bree Carroll, the podcast is on year 3 and has over 9,000 downloads and 100+ episodes. Comprehensive Report

The Stats

Military Marriage Day is proud to produce an annual study on military marriages. The 2020 and highly anticipated 2021 Military Marriage Survey Comprehensive Report are released each year on Military Marriage Day, August 14th. This report continues to guide the programming of Military Marriage Day and highlights areas that we can advocate for additional resources. Each year the data looks at the quantitative responses of service couples in areas of fulfillment, challenges and resources.

The 2020 Military Marriage Survey provides a comprehensive understanding of service couples relationships and challenges encountered by our active duty, reserve, guard and retired veterans. With a participant size of 512 participants, the survey provides insight into service marriages from Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy and National Guard.

Tony & Latisha J.

A thoughtful approach to military marriage.

Each year we start to look forward to Military Marriage Day after the 4th of July. Not only is it a great time to connect, I was impressed to learn about the research that goes into understanding and supporting couples like us. Military marriage is different and this thoughtful approach of an annual survey just takes everything over the top!
